Hi gorgeous, I’m glad you’re here! I’m Chelsea the girl behind the camera. I’m a natural light photographer + your personal cheerleader! In my wildest dreams, I never imagined that my love for photography would develop into a business. I pour my heart into each gallery + build relationships with each client turned friend!
When I’m not behind the camera, I am most likely snuggled up to my sweet pups, spending time with my loving husband + daughter, or watching movie marathons! I am ALWAYS optimistic, follow my dreams, + strive to live life to the fullest! Above all else, God is the main focus in my life. Without Him, I would not have these amazing blessings!
I get asked the question all the time, "so is this your only job"? I WISH. On top of being a wife, mom, owning this amazing small biz... I am also an insurance agent full time. Yep, I wear many hats! Lol.
The follow up question from my clients, "how in the world did you get into insurance"? Great question. The insurance field is an incredible opportunity for me to take care about my community without dealing with needles, fires, etc.! It may seem like a boring job to most but to me it's so rewarding knowing that I'm protecting families daily in my own special way!
One of my main passions is being an advocate for law enforcement officers! That's right, I'm a LEO wife + back the blue!
In 2016, I hosted the first Back The Blue 5K in our community which holds a special meaning in my heart. I wont go into all the details but it was a way to honor the fallen officers while showing appreciation to all LEOs. From our annual BTB 5K, we developed a scholarship program that awards high school seniors in VA that are children of LEOs with a scholarship to use towards furthering their education. So far, we have awarded five AMAZING individuals with scholarships!
Another way of showing my appreciation towards law enforcement officers are my LEO GIVEBACKS which are gifted mini sessions for LEOs and their families! This is such a small thank you + hopefully one day I'll be able to offer more. Until then, as long as I'm healthy and able, the givebacks will continue!
Life looks a little different nowadays... my world revolves around this angel and being present in ALL of her special moments! Emma is spunky, independent, + has shown me what love at first sight truly means. Emma gives me purpose.. she is my WHY + I strive to show her that anything is possible!
In my down time, which I have learned is SO important, this is where you can find me... attached to my mini me! Chasing bubbles, coloring, exploring outside, + soaking up all of her cuddles! The days are long but the years are short have never rang more true! If you have little ones, SOAK IT ALL IN.. the work, cleaning, etc. can wait!!
With a mistake... that's right! During my 8th grade field trip to New York to learn more about journalism through Columbus University workshops, my group somehow got lost and entered a photoshop class instead! God's way of directing my story telling skills through photography instead of words + I'm SO FREAKING HAPPY that I listened!
